Dr Jonathan Albilia Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon



Dr Albilia began his training at the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University. His oral and maxillofacial surgery training was completed at the University of Toronto where he also completed a research project in bone biology and degenerative joint disease, obtaining a master of science degree.

Dr. Albilia's main interests include orthognathic surgery, TMJ reconstruction and innovative, minimally invasive pre-implant reconstructions. He is an active staff at the Jewish General Hospital, Verdun Hospital and Sacre-Coeur Hospital. At patients' request or for cosmetic facial procedure, surgeries can be performed in a private surgical center.

Dr Firoozeh Samim Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Specialist

Dr. Samim is a Canadian and American Board Certified specialist in Oral Medicine & Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Dr. Samim received her DMD from Shiraz University of Medical Science and completed the Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology residency program at the University of British Colombia (UBC). Dr. Samim completed her Master of Science in craniofacial and pediatric dentistry focusing on the oral health of the vulnerable population. She has published several papers focusing on oral mucositis, oral care in cancer patients and temporomandibular disorders. She was an assistant professor at UBC and a staff of BC Cancer agency.

Dr. Samim is currently a clinical assistant professor at McGill University and a staff of pathology and laboratory medicine at the Health Science Center of NL with the active role in teaching both undergraduate and graduate dental students.

Dr. Samim’s expertise lies in the diagnosis, nature and primarily non-surgical management of oral, maxillofacial, and temporomandibular disorders.
